Nikon is proud to sponsor the Nat Geo Awards again this year. National Geographic Channel is renowned for presenting stunning photos as well as award-winning documentaries. The Nat Geo Awards are an extension of the channel’s philosophy where Hong Kong people are invited to explore the world around them through photography and filmmaking.

The Nat Geo Awards are divided into the Open Photo Category, Student Photo Category as well as Student Documentary Category. The 2012 competition enjoyed an overwhelming response from the Hong Kong community, receiving over 38,000 entries from students and the general public. The winners were selected by a host of industry-leading photographers and high-profile judges, and all of them were awarded Nikon cameras.

The award presentation ceremony has been successfully held on 30 June, and the winning photos are now being exhibited at Harbour City until 5 July, followed by the Lee Gardens from 19 to 31 July.
